NADA Neural Analog-to-Digital Approximation

NADA's mission is to build a two-way interface between the human brain and an artificial intelligence system that learns to emulate the neural activity and behavior of that brain.

A dense array EEG system (256 channels) provides a continuous  monitor of the electrical fields individual's brain, localized to the  cortical surface with electrical source imaging technology developed by  EGI, recently acquired by Philips Healthcare (www.egi.com).

With the EGI Geodesic Transcranial Electrical Neuromodulation  (GTEN) system applies electrical currents through the same hardware and  electrodes to create electrical fields that influence the activity of  cortical neurons. The combination of high-resolution real time brain  monitoring and electrical neuromodulation may provide the opportunity  for two-way brain-computer communication.
