NADA Neural Analog-to-Digital Approximation

NADA's mission is to build a two-way interface between the human brain and an artificial intelligence system that learns to emulate the neural activity and behavior of that brain.

A dense array EEG system (256 channels) provides a continuous monitor of the electrical fields individual's brain, localized to the cortical surface with electrical source imaging technology developed by  EGI, recently acquired by Philips Healthcare (www.egi.com).

With technology such as the Geodesic Transcranial Electrical Neuromodulation (GTEN) system, it is now possible to appliy electrical currents through the brain monitoring hardware so that two-way closed loop relationships can be established between the brain and the computer.
